I hope there are some computer geeks out there. When I click Firefox in my Quick launch it takes forever to launch because of prefetch. On task manager, I see csc. exe, imapi.exe,dumpprep, andothers I can't get rid of so that I can Quick launch. I've deleted and deleted, but to no avail. Can some one help?

Just about every site you get uses cookies. Mostly to recognize you but sometimes to track your web activity. Security software considers tracking cookies low risk. Take it off it it makes you feel better, but the next time you pull up your Firefox, it will be back. That & the other 500 from doing sweeps.

Think of when you log into a site/sweeps - if you block their cookie, they can't recognize you/your info. That's it - that's their function.
I have FF set to clear cookies/temp files when I close it & I manually do so in IE after I sweep/surf out of habit - but it also allows my guys to enter after me without being told they already entered because they still have me as logged in.
