I enter the IWs based on hopefully winning the grand prize, just like a daily. If I happen to time it right and win something extra, it is just an added bonus!
 
I started sweeping in august and all i've ever won via instant win is a $5 duncan donuts card and a box of nature vally granola bars. I enter almost every contest i am eligible for here everyday. So for instant wins that is probably about 30 or more. Cruddy luck. :scratch:

It took me 6 months of daily trying to win 5 1/2 years ago, and I learned that was the average. Yes, some win their 1st try, and some go a year {or more!!!} before they hit!!!


I also learned {skip if you've heard this, lol :laughing: }

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!

I've only been sweeping for 7 weeks, but I think I've done a lot better than average from what I read here.
So far, I've won:
$100 GC from Bon-Ton (department store)- a spin game that ended a couple of weeks ago
$25 GC from I-HOP
3 Jars of Pace
Wendy NCAA Football Video Game
$5 from Honey Nut Cheereos
Part of my success may be that I'm a poor sleeper, so I enter most of the IW's between 3:00 - 4:00 AM Eastern Time.
Some of them don't start their new day until 3:00 AM Eastern, so they must be on Pacific Time.

This is a really good way to look at it since lately I've been seeing some grand prize winners posting they won from IW's. I just hope we both win one! I'd love to win that M &m one ll but who wouldn't :cheers:
