It's been a while since this thread started and I have entered a few more pinterest contests. I am now starting to get a little frustrated in that you often can't tell when a winner was selected and when you can delete your board (that was submitted for the contest)! UGH :cussing:
lk107,
I agree that is probably a good plan. Absolutely. I have a little stubborn streak though. LOL If I see that they must have picked a winner by that time, I will go ahead and stop their free advertising on my Pinterest and delete their board. I am thinking they possibly don't announce winners so you keep advertising their brand.

I think you are right..every board with those products is basically free advertising..I have seen lots of the stuff I have posted for sweepstakes being repinned and liked by other users. My guess is that companies would probably be annoyed if people delete the boards immediately after the sweepstakes ends. However, if sweepers don't delete their boards, then I would end up having about a million boards..One of my friends said to me that if I'm not careful, I'll become the "cat lady" of pinterest, lol!
I posted this re; newsletters, but it probably applies here too:
some sweeps, buried in their rules, will state you have to stay subscribed to their newsletter or TWITTER page and/or continue to LIKE their FB page long after the sweeps ends to be eligible.
Like the sweeps ends 4/30/12, but they don't draw/confirm for weeks/months, so don't unsubscribe at the end date!
