Pinterest boards for sweepstakes

When a pinterest contest is over and you didnt win, do you delete the board that you created?

I have just started giving pinterest sweepstakes a try, some of them only ask you to pin items, but others ask you to create an entire board...it occurred to me that I would need to delete my old non-winning boards, otherwise I would end up with about a billion boards!

But how would you keep track of which boards you need to delete? (I would hate to delete a board if the sweepstakes has not ended)..And is deleting a board as soon as a contest ends bad sweeper etiquette?

I started doing Pinterest a while back...haven't won anything yet except a coupon. I keep a seperate list with the ending dates and with the date the winner is supposed to be picked. I have deleted some boards about 3 months after the contest has ended. I've kept the reat some because I just liked the board and hopefully can use some of my pins again for another contest.

Thanks for the tip!! I am going to start keeping track of the date the sweeps winner is supposed to be chosen and delete my board a few weeks after the winner is chosen.

Pinterest sweeps take a lot of time, but I figured I would at least give them a try and see what happens.
