Pick Your Candidate Quiz

My candidate tends to be John Edwards when I take the quizzes, but I kind of frown on another white guy in a suit. I want to see a bit of diversity in the Oval office.

All I can say at this point is, ABBB.

Mine matches pretty much who I had in mind of voting for it's a few things we disagree on but we agree on most things. :sunny:

No way this can be right. For a minute there I thought I was a democrat!

Hillary is usually at the top of my list. Once when I took a quiz, my results agreed with Bush about 9%. I wanted to gag that I had this 9% in agreement with him. Where did I go wrong?

Well, something to think about. When Gore and Bush ran against each other, 60 of the biggest corporations backed BOTH candidates. Hmm, makes you wonder if it really matters who gets in.

my results were not good as most of the issues I disagreed on they agreed and vise-versa and the top 8 had the same score  in the lower 20's and bottom was 8

I used to work at a company, in the department, that did this, so no surprise there. They want to be covered no matter what.

I have a "W" sticker on my car. "Worst Ever." Shrub has been truly wretched.

So, we can all figure out who "they" really work for!!

I don't like the lot of them! It's really a shame when there is no one that you like enough to vote for!! It's no wonder less and less people are voting.

The GOP had high hopes for "Fred," but he comes over on the stump like a stump. So goes the report. He actually looks a bit like Herman Munster.

The Democrats have a pretty interesting selection, and I could vote for any one of them. Rudy vs. Hillary would be a very interesting race - sort of like a subway series. Both have worn dresses at some point. Works for me.

OMG. I'm more confused than ever! :cussing: I don't even know some of these people. :sleepy: :sleepy:

I don't even care what these people call themselves anymore. They cross over party lines so much and join the most popular party of the moment, that you can't even tell who is really conservative or liberal just by what they call themselves. This is another reason I never ever straightline vote. I do each one individually.

Plus, what they all say and promise and what they really do are two different things. They're all a bunch of liars and phonies as far as I'm concerned. :nono:

You can say that again!

No matter who goes in office they are going to do what they are told to do by those who has the most money tossed towards them.

Exactly!

That's why it doesn't even matter anymore who gets in!! Sometimes, I think they just let us continue voting just to keep us happy thinking that we are making a difference.

Cynical, but there's lots of truth in this. The root of the problem: The need for so many millions of dollars to run for president. We would have a better system if there wasn't so much need to raise cash, because when you give something, you expect to get something.

The campaign for president should also be way shorter. Lots of the cash raised goes to TV attack ads because they work. We should look at ourselves and how we respond to attack advertising. Another point: one of the biggest opponents of campaign finance reform is the TV networks because they clean up at campaign time. Lots of places to point our fingers.

Shameless plug: Those interested in discussing politics are welcome to join thepoliticalbrawlhall.com. Lots of familiar "faces" are hanging out there.

Another sad thing is that our society has, in general, become lazy. Long gone are the days when people stood up for their rights. There's no more "taking one to the man" anymore. As long as a person has their clicker and recliner, they just don't care.

...and there is the major problem. People really don't care anymore.
