Rocky just called me. He went to walmart. I gave him 3 free coupons. 1 for bagels, 1 for creamcheese, and 1 for bread. And told him to get 2 rolls of heavy duty tape too.

Well he just called me, told me everything cost only 5 cents. The lady used the bagel coupon on the tape. Thats why the tape didn't cost much. The bagel coupon was $4 off. The bagels was only $2.
My husband couldn't believe it. He said, I gave her a dime, and actually got change back. You can't get stuff for 5 cents.

LOL, now thats a shopping trip! I can't even get my husband to use coupons, I have to do it myself. :nono:
 
:cheers: My dh loves to do the shopping. He loves to use coupons, checks the store ads and to see how much he can save. He comes home like a kid in a candy store, always showing me the receipt and how much he saved. Gotta love him!

How cool!! My hubby won't use coupons, he says he feels funny. But now if I have a coupon that has anything to do with something HE wants (like a free game rental at blockbuster), he suddenly forgets that he is supposed to "feel funny" and uses it just fine :nono:
 
My DH uses coupons. I sent him all the subway ones I won. So far, no problems, but as big and scary looking as he is people do not want to argue with him :laughing:

I think your husband and my sisters husband are twins. :nono:

Trying to get my BIL to use coupons is like asking the Pope to becoming a Baptist. It aint gonna happen. :error:

My husband came from a family of 12 kids. When we first got together, I never used coupons, never comparisoned shopped. I didn't have to so why bother? I've learned how to do it and he's a very good shopper. I'm not lol

What is funny is my sister has everyone at work giving her the Pepsi, Coke Sweepstakes and Mountain Dew caps to her. She has an agreement with one lady, if she wins an Xbox or Wii, that lady gets it. And my sister has given away a couple of prizes to the folks at work so they don't mind helping her.
 
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Coupons. I give my DH all the fast food ones for him to use when he's driving around for work. I even belong to a coupon club that meets twice a month. I go and get coupons for my mom and for friends. I even send the expired ones to a church in TX that will send them out to the military in other countries since the base commisarys will take the coupons up to 6 months past the experation date. I HATE to see a coupon not get redeemed. :cry:

My motto is "The best things in life are free. After that, comes stuff you got coupons for!!" :crazytongue:
