PCH Search Sweepstakes - Any Experience?

I've been using the search enging from the Publishing Clearing House since they offer a search and win sweepstakes. The site publishes a list of winners but I'm curious if anyone here has had any experience with their online sweepstakes?
 
I spend soo much time everyday entering PCH sweeps. I have won a $10 check from the Facebook PCH site before. It was one of the instant games on facebook. A claim form came up and I was very surprised. They did mail the check tho!! Hope you win too! As far as the search engine I have searched for over a year and no win from that, but it's fun to try because all it takes is one search really,I think it's a good thing you get chances to win too! It is very hard to win it big from pch I believe, so it is good to enter all that you can on SA too to maybe win something. THere's only so many hours a day and quite often I skip my daily contests for PCH that's just my experience. :)
 
Thanks curmudgeon. I know their history is riddled with questionable marketing tactics. I'm not foolish enough to start buying things I don't need. I know the law - purchasing cannot increase odds of winning.

On the other hand, I've seen the prize patrol commercials and was under the impression the prizes themselves - although long shots - are real. That's why when I saw the website was listing winners for $10 amazon gift cards and $5 starbucks cards I was just curious if anyone here ever won anything from them.
 
I have been Entry Publisher Clearing House when Ed Mchan was in the Prize Patrol Team 39 year's ago and I have not Won any thing to talk about..I have order stuff and played there game's for many,many year's Now..You would think Publisher Clearing House would look at that as a Super Fan..But they do not..First come first Win..I think they have Lied to me..I Seach and every thing they as me to do..Publisher Clear House keep's adding thing to do..Now it use your Cell Phone..I do not have a Cell Phone and do not want one..How much more do I have to do to Win?????????

I guess there are so many sweepstakes out there, I shouldn't get hung up on PCH. I've been using their search engine daily, I think I'll stop.
 
I use BLINGO to search {PCH bought it & it keeps threatening to shut down, since last year} and I have won numerous times from them.

I also won an IW for $10 or $20 once, years ago, but I don't bother with their big money PITA forms.
