Hi All,

I am new to SA but certainly not new to sweeping. I have been a member of another very popular sweeping community for years, I caught the sweeping bug from my boyfriend's mother who taught me all I know about sweeps.

I used to pay for a premium membership on this other site - the name is commonly abbreviated with 3 letters - but like many others after years of certain promised new features I am starting to feel a bit forgotten.

I let my premium membership expire and I find myself now sort of feeling lack luster about sweeping in general because I know I am missing out on a lot of sweeps by not having the premium membership.

I joined this site because I liked the fact that you split out Twitter sweeps and originally just used the site for entering those types while still using the "other site". Now I am wondering if its time for a switch - but I have heard different info so I want to understand SA better.

I understand there is a paid membership level - what does this give? Do you get access to "premium" sweepstakes with this membership or are all of your compiled sweepstakes listings available to ALL members (free and paid) - does the premium/paid level of membership simply grant you access to additional tools and not additional sweepstakes?

I just really want to understand how free vs paid memberships work here - and perhaps find a new sweeping place to call home and reignite my passion for sweeping.

I would have tried the FAQ but the link seems to be broken....

Hello,

The paid membership gives you access to a version of SA called Sweepstakes Plus that has no banner ads or
pop-ups. The sweepstakes lists are the same except Plus members only are in a monthly drawing for $100
that we sponsor.

On Plus we also have a feature called Custom My Sweepstakes. Custom My Sweepstakes allow
you to create your own My Sweepstakes List however you choose.

For instance you could create a custom my sweepstakes list called "Facebook - Daily Entry" or "Twitter - Enter Weekly" .
We've found that improving entry accuracy improves the odds of winning prizes. ( This feature is only found on Plus )

When you signup, Plus members also get a free keyboard sweeper that we mail out to you.

You'll also find that we always deliver what we promise in terms of upgrades.

One of the things that I am proud of is that we have a staff of editors and mods that take
the site very seriously and are committed to quality and fairness.

I and my wife own the site and are always very accessible via the helpdesk. You can also

:wave: Welcome to SA adivina! The paid version provides you with all the great tools for sweeping. Everyone gets access to all the sweeps except for the one sweep that is run each month for the Sweeps Plus members. I have been a member here for many years. The admin here listens to it's members and doesn't make a bunch of broken promises. They step forward and give us what we want. You won't be disapppointed. I am loving the paid level concept here - you don't get access to more sweepstakes, but get access to enter the same sweeps in a more efficient manner - that right there is a good marketing strategy from the viewpoint of satisfaction for both FREE and PAID members. Kudos!

I am familiar with other sweeps sites, and hands down, SA is the BEST - especially for those of us who are more about sweeping than snarking :crazytongue: :whistle: :laughing:

As Admin and pmeek already noted, SA and PLUS are user friendly, with PLUS being for the type of sweeper who likes to organize things their own way - and as a full on Type A, I LOVE that, lol!!! :laughing:

This is certainly the best site!!! Admin. always addresses your questions promptly and the members are the best!! If you have questions about sweeping or you are just having a bad day, the members here listen, give encouragement and get excited about you winning too. We are all like a big family here. I love it :love:
 
Hello. I've been away from the site (and sweeping) for several months due to other obligations, but am looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. I know that things have changed a bit here regarding the free and paid memberships. The info on this thread pre-dates those changes, right? Where can I find the <new> differences between the two types of membership. I'm sure it is on here somewhere, but haven't been able to dig it up. As always, thank you for this site!

So, not only will you have access to all the tools {SweepsCheck, Personal Sweepstakes Notes, SweepsPop, Remind Me, etc,} that SA offers, with Sweepstakes Plus you will also have an advanced directory with added sweepstakes tools and resources not found on SA!

Such as a newly constructed My Sweepstakes - where YOU create your own custom My Sweepstakes Category and then add any sweepstakes you choose to that custom list! {THE tool for the serious sweeper!!!}

Also, Sweepstakes Plus has both Twitter and Facebook categories, to complement the Blog. DVD, and CD categories that were previously added!
