Orlando, here we come!

I had a very successful series of big wins early in the year (including a car and a few thousand in cash), but lately I had been going through a dry spell. It broke today.

I was just notified that I won a prize in the Valpak and Friends sweepstakes: A trip for 2 to Orlando with luxury accommodations for 4 days, passes to all Universal Studios parks, tickets to a Blue Man Group concert and a complete set of Blu-ray discs of all 236 "Friends" episodes.

I also won a radio call-in this morning. The initial prize was only a CD, but it also qualified me as a finalist for another trip to Florida. (And in a couple of weeks, we'll be leaving for a week on the Baja Peninsula in Mexico -- another trip I won earlier this year).

I love travel prizes and have won a lot of them over the past 6 years: New Orleans, Los Angeles (for a Rolling Stone party), Orlando (this new one will be our 3rd Orlando win!), Williamsburg, Miami (for the Pro Bowl), Nashville (for the CMA), Israel and Mexico.

Very nice! I hope to win a trip for our anniversary at least lol. Do you tend to focus on trip/cash wins or do you just get lucky like that? lol

I am almost positive I met you a few years ago in Orlando for the Orlando Makes Me Smile contest in October 2010. If this is you, I have to thank you for getting me into sweepstaking! We met on the first night there on a shuttle bus heading back to the Lake Buena Vista hotel from Downtown Disney. I was with my husband, and it was our first win, though we were not regularly entering sweepstakes. You shared with me you sweeping success and told me that you were headed to Israel in a few weeks via another win.

You INSPIRED me!

After I returned home from that trip, I began sweepstaking and eventually discovered SweepsAdvantage. Since January 2011, I have been sweeping regularly and have won a lot of fantastic things, including 3 trips -iheartradio sweepstakes Music Festival getaway this past September in Vegas; a trip to Mendoza, Argentina, that we went on last December, and an upcoming trip to Myrtle Beach. I've also racked up some great gift cards with $3,000 to Home Depot being the largest so far.

If you are the same person I met in Florida, I really can't thank you enough! When people ask me how I keep winning, I always tell them how I met this guy (I affectionately refer to you as the Godfather of Sweeping, by the way) who changed my life :)
