Open link in private Firefox window when Recaptcha won't work

I know there's another sticky thread about this but I read it and didn't notice this workaround. I didn't want to initially post it in the other thread so people would see this immediately, given the other thread is so long.

When entering sweeps today, I had not had any problems with Recaptcha (oh but it is a vicious time waster for no good reason!) until randomly I got the dreaded message:

"We're sorry, but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now."

Up until today, my standard process was simply to set aside those sweepstakes for several hours and then enter them again, but this time I decided to right-click my Firefox bookmark link and selected:

"Open in a New Private Window"

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Recaptcha now worked perfectly, insofar that it is a miserable POS. I'm not quite sure why this works but I only care that it did for me, and I used this method to enter 3 sweeps that just a minute before were giving me that Recaptcha Kiss of Death.

I suspect this will work for other browsers that have the ability to do the same.

kcemac9999 - I am subscribed to & thus alerted when those stickied threads are posted to, so when a post gives good info/tips that help out fellow sweepers, I will C&P or merge the thread into the pertinent stickied thread & [if there is room] Quote the post into the OP so it doesn't get lost in the thread.
