Omaze a waste of time?

I've gotten a ton of spam that I've traced back to Omaze. Plus, the chances of winning seem to be on par with the powerball lottery. Are these generally a waste of time?

Omaze promotions are very popular and have a biiiig pool of entrants. They may have lower odds of winning, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to chance! I'd say it's personal preference whether or not they're worth it. Same with other big games, like Powerball, PCH, HGTV Home, etc.,

That's what I figured, it just didn't seem realistic without donating.

I enter Omaze contest without donating. It a huge long shot since it’s open to the whole world basically but it doesn’t take long.
