here goes.. I have a sinking feeling that if you were one of the folks who mailed in an AMOE for this H&R Block $1,000 X 1000 winners daily promotion and you HAVEN'T been picked yet as a winner, you can pretty much forget about it by now. Four days into it- ok that's 4,000 winners so far BUT have you looked on their Facebook page? sooo many folks listing their thanks and excitement as having been picked as a winner (& volunteering the info that they were ones that were in an H&R Block office & filed taxes) I have read so many instances of people writing "I filed on the 5th, etc. etc" you know, so early in the month- Here I was excited thinking those of us who mailed it in who sort of get a *head start/jump* so to speak, but yeah now I realize how foolish my thinking is when all over the country I'm sure there are ten of thousands of people who physically went to their office, filed early and got their entry in... and us AMOE entrants are mixed in with them & as time goes by and the pool grows bigger.......ugh... <sigh>

so yeah.. there's my whine

I always remember the 1st ipod I won was from a Bud 1x entry, that rolled over for 4 months, with like 250 winners a month drawn.

See, I didn't even know about the promo until the last few days, when I saw a winner post about it, so I did a hail mary entry just because, and got TONS of hate for being drawn a winner when those who entered day 1 & were in it for all the draws didn't win.

My point? There is no "leverage/trick/advantage" it's all just the luck of the draw! Oh, and good timing of course!

Lol. Yup I mailed mine in early too to improve my chances. A long shot for sure considering how many people use H&R block to file, but you just never know. Play the odds, appreciate the luck. : )
(BTW i have yet to receive ANY tax paperwork for the year! I'm surprised people are able to file so early!)

I really love your post because I have been obsessing about whether or not I could win.

I go to H&R Block website and check names https://hrb.promo.eprize.com/dailygrand/ everyday,

and I even bookmarked it. Well, needless to say I *JUST un- bookmarked it. Honestly, I don't

expect to win especially like you say now with all the entrants. I mean win some lose some right?

IF I do win I will post, but as a non winner

right now I have looked at every site I can find and I have read at least a hundred times "I won,

and so on." While pretty glad for the winners, I am disappointed a lot. However, I can't

waste one more minute wringing my hands and playing whoa is me why didn't I win. You know!?

They Did give everyone a fair chance to win with having so many winners, so I am happy with the chance.

Although the Grand would be very nice, and like everyone else I wouldn't of sent in an envelope with my entry

if I didn't need/want to win. I hope everyone can win honestly!! Just as they say, "don't

put all your eggs in the same basket.." Time for Plan B- Okay, I probably will not win there is competition,

just try for something else you want ((In my case at least.)) Good Luck I hope to see you won this!!!

The only thing I think might be an advantage is that if you sent your entry in the beginning you are not buried in

entries. Well, haahaa at least I am telling myself that. Random with a computer I should tell myself I know now.

Good news kacor7

Just a while ago, I received an e-mail letting me know that I won $1,000. Of course, I completed the paperwork right away and it's done. The cool thing is that the paperwork is electronic: It's all online and there is no printing, faxing, e-mail, notary, snail mail, etc.

To enter, I didn't take my taxes to H&R Block. I did the AMOE and completed a 3"x5" card, licked the envelope, and put on a stamp.

This is especially sweet because I am still unemployed. Ken Carlos, may God bless you, your family and SA because you have enriched me over the years. Thanks also go to H&R Block who sponsored such a great sweeps.

Sweepers, send in your entries because they roll over each day.

I mailed my entry as soon as I saw it listed on here- well it went out 1/5/16 and I have a feeling it was just lost in the mail :-(

While the "good" sweepstakes like this one the H& R Block are appealing, it's much easier I've found to win something besides one entry. That is, when I put the work with daily entries I win more.

I think I've personally won one good prize with a one entry, all the rest were consistent entering from dailies!

THAT SAID-

Ours went out the night of the 4th, so the 5th too here. There's still some time, so don't worry too much. I fear I won't win, but had some fun in trying I know!
