OH MY !!! WATCH out Firefox users.. 30.0 NOT roboform compatible yet

I just made the HUGE HUGE mistake of letting firefox update... without FIRST searching if it is roboform friendly.
IT IS NOT!!!
*sigh* so I had to go thru the hassle of re-installing version 29.

Just a little heads-up for you.

SO annoying, LOL. I'm so completely HOOKED on roboform! Can't live without it anymore.

I just updated to Firefox 30.0 and Roboform is still there and working perfectly. Was the Roboform extension enabled or disabled? That might have caused your problem. Click on the Firefox menu (upper right - 3 horizontal lines) - then click on "add-ons." The next screen should show Roboform and whether it's "enabled" or "disabled."

Free or paid version? I went paid after having to use a really old FF version to get robo to even work in Free!

All versions of Roboform are free IF you limit the number of passcards (logins). I just checked and you're allowed 10. If you exceed that limit then it become a paid version. They'll tell you when you exceed the max for free, and you can delete one to get back under the limit. I use basically the same password for all sweeps, I just manually add a * 1 or 9 when needed, so I only need 3 passwords (passcards/logins) - one of which is for SA. The other two are for sites similar to SA (gasp). Both my wife and I use them, so maybe Roboform counts it as 6.

Within the last month I upgraded to the most current version of Roboform. It's possible that there's a newer version, but I won't upgrade again for awhile. I don't find it necessary to constantly upgrade.

I usually proof read a new sweep to catch Roboform errors/omissions. After a few times I no longer proof read, I just know when I open a particular sweep that it needs additional fields completed or corrected.

At first I didn't have Roboform on the Opera or Firefox Browsers. I kept looking for reasons why 'cause Roboform says it's doable. I finally was able to figure it out & get Robo on both browsers. The solution is in each browser in Options, settings, addons, extensions or general instructions/overview. The Opera logins, bookmarks etc. are at the bottom of the screen. I can't figure out how to get it up top like in IE or Firefox. That's no biggie however - you get used to it.

Here's the Roboform link that states it's free with 10 saved logins:
RoboForm Free Password Manager - RoboForm

PS: I just checked and 7.9.7 is the most current version of Roboform. Here's the link to find out which version you're using:

I'm running IE10 and have never used IE 8 so I'm not familiar with it. Some things you might try:

Open up SA home page and then open one of your sweeps so that you have two windows open. On the SA page open tools and scroll down to "show roboform tollbar" When I click on mine roboform disappears. A second click makes it reappear.

Now try the same process on the second window - your sweep window - and see what happens.

You might also open "Manage Add-ons in the tools drop down and make sure that roboform is "enabled." You can also find Manage add-ons if you click on "Internet options" in the tool bar and then click on programs.

Call or Google roboform help - there are lots of Roboform help websites, just Google "Roboform help."

Until you get it fixed you could download the Opera or Firefox Browser (or both) and use it (them) for sweeping. I use another site where IE doesn't work that well. I'll use either FF or Opera to enter my sweeps there and then for variety I'll use any one of the the three browsers to enter my sweeps here at SA.

If you download FF or Opera you may need to search around - as I did - in order to get Roboform to appear and to work.

At first, Opera gave me a small green Roboform icon at the top right. I had to click on it and then my name to get it to fill forms. I got tired of the double clicking and started searching on the Opera site for an alterrnative. I don't remember where, but I found a box I could check to "show roboform at the bottom of the screen" or words to that effect. I clicked on it and now have a complete Roboform toolbar at the bottom of the screen when I open Opera.

Sometimes, these kinds of problems solve themselves if you uninstall and then reinstall a program like Roboform or a new Browser

Same for me. What worked was going to the roboform website and downloading it again. Using your master password allows roboform to fix the problem...only took me a minute.

Hell yea!! It worked. I am able to enter my sweeps via IE8 now thanks for your helpful tips. THANK YOU THANK YOU.... really appreciate it. Thanks all!1
