I won the $30 gift card from Office depot but never received confirming email did i still win? Thanks SA!!!!

Well Aimee, to the best of my knowledge no one has recieved an email for this. I "won" about 5am my time and didnt get a email and even the people posting before me said they didnt receive a email either. I did see someone post that they won also and ten minutes later his father didnt win. I hope there is no glitch and we all get our cards in 6 weeks or so (or whatever the congrats screen said) So hopefully you did win and maybe SA had more winners than anywhere else and it just looks like a glitch. In the meantime, Congrats! :cheers:
 
I received an email from promotions at Office Depot saying I didn't win the daily prize. I also had won the $30.00 gift card for being one of the first 300. I responded back and told them quite a few people had won it. I asked if there was an error or if we were truly all winners. I will post if I hear. Thanks for everyone posting they had won. I hadn't checked instant wins yet. As soon as I saw I entered.
 
Everyone gets the email saying that we didn't win the daily prize.

Caution: It is best NOT to contact them. What good does that do? They will contact us if the want to rescind the $30 prize. You know in these situations, best not to draw too much attention to it. Just be patient and hope that they honor their instant win notification.
 
Congrats! I did get an email saying I didn't win the daily prize and thanks for signing up for the promotion, but I was indeed one of the first 300 so maybe they will just send them b/c that's what everyone seems to be saying! Hope we all get them!
 
I hope everyone who was in the first 300 is a winner!! When I entered about 11:30 I got a message the first 300 had already registered. (teach me to sleep in).

Would have been a good prize for me as together both ink cartridges for my printer is about $35.
 
According to Office Depot's facebook page they know the game had an error... This is what Office Depot says on Facebook....

"Thank you for the tremendous support! We are verifying the first 300 eligible Office Depot® Gift Of The Day instant win game registrants. Due to an error in the web site structure, some errors were seen by some instant win game registrants. This error has since been repaired. An e-mail will be sent to those verified game registrants via e-mail confirming entitlement to a $30 Office Depot® Gift Card, per Offer Terms."

Well that sucks!! I think they should honor them.. it never said anything about computer malfunctioning in the rules... I know I won't get one, but it stinks that they got so many people excited for nothing.
 
I also won a $30 Office Depot gift card - and didn't get a confirming email but I think it's for real - it was only the first 300 to enter and wasn't the "real" instant win prize of computer for today
