Well, I'm not sure if you've been following my other threads about wanting to buy, cleaning up bad credit, steps to consolidating your own credit, etc. Well all of that hard work paid off.... We put in an offer on a home only 1.5 miles from my job. It's perfect for our little family. 2bd 2ba condo overlooking the pool. The only thing that is killing me is the wait. It is a foreclosure property that will need some paint & carpet (we are fine with that). I figure I will put in about $5k to do the things I want done so it will look "brand new".

This is very exciting for us..... Please keep your fingers crossed for us, we WANT THIS ONE!! :sunny:

Thanks Pmeek.... We should hear something today or tomorrow my real estate agent said.... I haven't slept well since the offer was submitted..... I love this property....

Thank you all.... Anyone know anything about those IKEA kitchens? I've been looking at those and love what they have to offer for space savers and contemp looks. I may go to the IKEA store this weekend. Also, we are going to hunt for carpet & tile this weekend to compare prices. i printed out the list for rebate stores are offering if you buy energy efficient appliances. there are only certain appliances we can buy to get the money back. This is sooo exciting... my daughter is soooo excited to have her own space again. I told her last night, this hard work was all for her. I'd do anything for her and shown her this is how you work hard for the things you want for your family and in life. nothing comes for free.... Well unless you enter sweepstakes AND WIN... (tee hee) :laughing:
