Not getting fb notifications when tagged...?

Any facebook experts around? For some reason I don't get notifications when a company's fan page tags me in a comment, not even if I have their page liked... but if an individual tags me, then I'll get a notification. If anyone knows why this is, please let me know!! I've nearly missed a couple of wins because of this.

How would you know if you got tagged if it didn't notify you? Anyway, try clicking the little globe for notifications, then settings, then see if you can set it to get notifications if anyone tags you. Not too sure that will work, but worth a try.

Another poster tagged me in a separate comment to congratulate me on winning, and I got a notification for that. When I visited the page, that's when I learned that the page admin had previously tagged me themselves, sometime earlier, but I never received any notification for it.

You can hover over the 'like' button on a page to tick the setting for 'get notifications,' but this will result in you getting a notification every single time the page posts anything new -- obviously not a solution.

Not on their page, on yours. I see that it lets you have a setting to get notifications if friends tag you or if anyone tags you. Though if the other person that tagged you wasn't a friend, you probably already have it set like that.
