Not a whine-

:headbang: Just notating my 1 year anniversary time with Sweeping and SA. I started sweeping in September 2011. I have won prizes totaling more than $3,000-- maybe $3500. I did not keep very good records....just a sort of outline of bigger wins and values. I am very happy with the hobby. I still wait for the BIG win, but wanted to say, glad I found this place and sweeping! :sunny:

lol - "Sit in the corner and do NOT think about a brown bear" :booty"

I think it took me about 4 years to top $3000 in prizes? I don't really track that aspect

I am not sure how remote that reference is....but I had to Google. LOL!

I think of my wins in terms of lots of things...one being overall $.

lol - Sit in the corner and do NOT think about a brown bear = not a WHINE = ALL I think is that this IS a whine

It's how my brain is wired. :booty"

I guess I was thinking about the wanting my big prize that hasn't come yet when creating that title...but I did well this year! :) :booty"

Oh, I hear ya - but a biggie is a double edged sword - it makes the smaller wins seem, well, small

I'm in a big slump right now myself :crazytongue:

I've been sweeping for several years and have not had too many huge wins, but lots of what I think of as mid-level wins. I don't have lots of money, so winning tons of gift cards, a kindle fire, and an Ipad are huge deals to me. All of these wins add up to a lifestyle I wouldn't be able to have without sweepstakes.
I look at sweeping this way: how many other hobbies actually EARN you money and gifts? I love SA and all the cool people on here too. Even when you are "losing" you are winning! :sunny:

Thanks for those thoughts. So true. We wouldn't have what we got it is wasn't for sweeping! That goes for me too! I have been unemployed for a while now... Thanks! I agree! It is a great hobby and SA is great too!

Well, according to some scam/spam...I won $1,000,000 USD from PCH Lotto which I didn't even play! Hooray for me....LOL

:sunny: Happy Anniversary! Looks like you had a great first year and hopefully every year will get a little better. Seems like the longer you do this the more it pays off with the added experience that you gain each year. Best of luck to you in getting some big wins during your second year.

Thanks, PMeek! I agree 100%....the more you do this, the better you can get at it....knowing more about which sweeps to enter and how much effort you want to put into it, etc. GL to you for further success as well!

You should go ahead and consider this a whine. It seems that I have read several win posts that noted that they came after a good posted whine.

Gee, I won that one too, several times already. Amazing how they can give away all that money when we didn't even play.
