No Win on Tito's Yoga Mat

Just got this email explaining that some of us really didn't win.
Hello ,

My name is Meredith from Avid Marketing Group, the web hosting service for the Tito’s Wanderlust sweepstakes. Thank you so much for taking the time to enter the sweepstakes.

It’s come to our attention that on or around Sunday, February 14th you may have seen a message on the Tito’s Wanderlust sweepstakes websites notifying you that had you had won an instant win prize of a yoga mat and water bottle.

Unfortunately, the sweepstakes website malfunctioned and may have erroneously displayed a message indicating that you won a prize. We are truly sorry for this malfunction and we have corrected the error. All instant win prizes were awarded as of February 8, 2016, and unfortunately we are unable to provide you with an instant win prize.

Avid Marketing Group apologizes for the erroneous message, and we corrected the malfunction as soon as it came to our attention. This problem was entirely out of the control of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The technical issue has been resolved and the sweepstakes should be running smoothly from now until the contest ends at midnight ET on March 31st.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Rest assured that your entry into the sweepstakes for all remaining prizes has been recorded. We will be announcing the winners of Tito’s Wanderlust Sweepstakes on or around April 1st.

Email I received from Tito's. I think I'm more annoyed that all the IW's were gone by 2/8 - Hope it's okay to post this in this forum

What a shame! It's so much fun to get a winning notice and then to not receive it is disappointing. That happened to me once on another contest and I still don't feel kindly to that sponsor. Hope your future sweeping goes better.
 
This was my response. Granted, I was in a bad mood. I must have also misread their email or they changed their mind because ppl are posting wins again. crazy. lol
"What a lousy way of handling things. Do what you have to do but your company should have stopped when they ran out of prizes on the 8th instead of wasting people's time for 6 days only to give them more disappointment. It's not a big deal. It's certainly wasn't a big prize. It's all in how companies handle things now,though. The consumer is a wiser one now, with many options of obtaining help, sharing info, etc. Many have already expressed their disappointment on social media. I expect I'll see many more after this sweep. Remember-IT WASN'T YOUR CUSTOMERS' OR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS' FAULT EITHER.

If the prizes are all already awarded, why in the world are you having us enter and waste more time? A whole month's worth?"
 
Sorry for those that thought they won. Theoretically, it's possible with these computer generated timings that all prizes could be awarded the first day - very very unlikely, but possible. At least they took ownership of the error instead of deflecting as so many do these days, I'll give them that.
 
The President of Tito's sent me a nice email to apologize. They are solely holding the administrating company, Avid, responsible. He did say that all entries were now for grand prize only. All the iw wins are gone. I kindly let him know that people are still posting they are winning the iw prizes way after this. Poor guy.
