No change from your Gift Card?

Is it true that if you get a gift certificate, you must use as much of the amount as possible because they won't give you change and it is a one time use card?

It has been my experience that they deduct what you have spent and give it back to you if something is left. I have had $0.50 left on a card before and I just use that on another purchase later.

:sunny: That would depend on the gift card/gift certificate that you have and the rules governing that gift card. I don't recall ever getting change back from the multitude of gift cards I have received over the years. I have however, received change back from the paper gift certificates.
