New Job

I started a new job on September 2nd...I work at a daycare from 8am-3pm...not great pay but great hours! Being a single mom of a teenager I LOVE the hours I work...but I am so completely exhausted that I have had little time to do any sweeps ! :( I am in the toddler room and have right around 14 2-4 yr olds that I help take care of...but this week the lady who works in the baby has been gone because her daughter is sick so I have been taking care of 4 or 5 babies...OMG my desire to have more children has completely vanished LOL! How do people who have multiple babies do it...they all start crying at the same time...or need to be fed at the same time...I had a new baby today who cried for over 2 hours solid and could not get my other babies to take their naps.aaaaaargh I wanted to tear my hair out. Yesterday it was a Poopapoolooza in the baby room..changed 8 poopie diapers in less than 3 hours...it was GROSS!!! LOL..One of the preschoolers came in the baby room to use the bathroom..he walked right back out and said I cant go potty in there IT STINKS!!! I almost died laughing!

Hopefully after I get used to my new schedule I will find the time to do my sweeps again...but I do still pop in here to see what ya all are talking about!

Miss you all
Tina

Best birth control on earth ~lol! Glad to see ya on here girl!!

:sunny: Wore me out just reading what you were doing! Hope you are able to find some time to do some sweeping soon.

I'm just amazed that they have just you working that many children. In this neck of the woods, the states require one caregiver per six children. They should pay you more!

:) glad to hear about the job. That many babies can wear anyone out. They need to make sure you have help especially because it'ssupposedd to be one person per 2 babies I think. Not sure but when I was a preschool teacher the laws state so many people for a certain number of babies. I do love babies though just not that many at once.

Depending on the state, it's usually one caregiver per 3 to 4 infants and one- to two-year-olds; and one caregiver per 6 to 7 children in the age range of two to five.

I have one other lady that works with me plus the owner is there doing preschool too..so some of the 4 yr olds are in the preschool room too..and another woman comes in 3 days a week at 11 am...but we are still dealing with a lot of kids and I could never do it by myself LOL!!!!ND state law is one staff to each 5 kids age 2-3...and 1 staff to each 7 kids age 3-4 and for babies age 6 weeks to 2 years it is one staff to 4 babies....but 80% of our kids are boys and the are very rambunctious to say the least...but I have already came to love each and everyone of them.....in fact I would take 100 of them in place of my ONE TEENAGER right now  I cant think of a better job...I get paid to play with little kids and sit and watch disney movies for 2 hours during quiet time and then play outside for 2 hours of the day...but I havent worked for 3 years so it is hard to get back into a routine plus having to run my daughter to all of her stuff too...plus I am planning my parents 40th anniversary party..so my life is very full right now...and after going through insomnia for the last 2 years sleep is now coming alot easier now LOL!
