I've been following Amy's suggestion, and posting a note to myself under each daily DVD sweep. When you post your note, start by hitting "Enter" 3 or 4 times, then type "Daily" then hit "Enter" 3 or 4 times again. All the blank space makes the sweep stand out on your list, and you can spot it easily, no matter how you sort your sweeps.

Of course, it would be much easier to re-enter if the CD and DVD sweeps were pre-sorted, as you suggested. I like your idea of two categories. One for CD/DVD One Entry and the other for CD/DVD Daily.

I know everyone is grateful to have such a responsive admin, and as someone who skips these, I'm so very happy they are in their own category - this was a GREAT upgrade for me/sweepers like me!!! :headbang:

I know it took a LOT of work for admin to make the recent changes as requested, and as I noted to him, I really wished I'd paid better attention because I *might* have caught that they would be easier if they were sorted by frequency 1st, then by prize (DVD/CD)

I've notified him of this thread. Hopefully, he will be able/have time to make the requested change.

I really don't mean to be beating the horse til it's dead, so this is my last comment on this. I will accept and learn to work with whatever I have to work with. (I am not really the *itch I am afraid I am coming across as) But as far as the note, I agree it would probably make things a lot easier, IF the note could be added when the sweeps is added to my sweeps. But there is no provision for that, so it means going thru all the new ones each day and adding the ones I want to enter then going into my sweeps and finding them again and adding the note to each. OK OK OK I will shut up now. Love this site and I know admin really works hard and even though there is this one thing I don't like I would never go to another site. I have to go along with others in saying that I don't like this at all either. There are way too many different prizes and sweepstakes that have to be read through irregardless. To me, it seems that this is just opening the door for further requests for specialized categories. I believe someone has now requested one for blog sweepstakes. Next, it'll be one for trips, then one for electronics, then one for books, etc. Then it'll look like one big mess. I prefer them all grouped by entry frequency. Maybe, polling members for preference would be a good idea.

That's why he did the DVD/CD category.

I get your point about too many categories could muck up the works, but, if we keep them by entry frequency, then be able to ALSO click a link for a specific category (Like we have the links for some on the home page now) say for sweeps with Daily/Weekly/Monthly prizes, it would be another tool that we sweepers would welcome. :headbang:

I remember that thread, but most of that didn't pertain to me since I only sweep directly from Roboform; and I couldn't respond to the CD/DVD on since it wasn't in the "Yes" or "No" context. How about a category for sweepstakes with Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways as the prize? :crazytongue:
