Nearly 3 Months without a Win...then WOW!!

I’m a first time poster on this forum (I think), and I just had to say that the old sweepers saying about holding on for a win is true! I was pretty much resigned to the fact that I would never win a prize again...then Bam! The next morning I got an email notification about winning a $300 ARV cooler from a Bud sweeps, 2 wins from a local grocery store’s special event (2 huge bags of kitchen goodies), then exactly 2 hours after that 2nd Win notification, I received an email from the Lifetime American Beauty show’s sweeps...a Beauty Box of various items worth ARV $361!! I’m humbled & thrilled by this...coicindentally, I had recently donated a nice prize to a foster family the day before all this happened. I don’t share that last bit of news to toot my own horn, I just think it’s interesting how such things happen. We “sweepers” tend to share the generosity that we receive ourselves, and this community is a great one to hang out with online!

congrats. I'm on a very long non win streak and feeling very much like you did. thinking about hanging it up, your story is inspiring and i'll try a little longer. thanks for sharing

we all have "dry spells" in the sweeping world, then all of a sudden wins come in fast and furious. Never give up, because all it takes is just a few moments to enter your information on a sweepstakes form. Congrats on your wins, good luck to all. THANK YOU TO SA for all the sweeps you post!!!

Way to go cardsfans15 on such an inspiring story. You know it's so good to give to someone else in need, and you always get it back 10 fold. Congratulations on the many wins!

Congrats to you!! I'm a believer! I call it sweeper karma! Put good energy out, get good energy back. Each year I have "adopted" children at Christmas with my wins, given to friends for the sake of giving, always congratulated folks when active on the site, and leave some contests without entering for others to have more chances, on purpose. That's my way of thinking I will be repaid for my efforts (whether there's anything to that or not). :)

Definitely understand the dry spells and though there seems like more now than years ago it is still a worthwhile and fun hobby! We all need breaks sometimes. Wishing you lots more! Happy sweeping!

Congrats on your win!!

Congrats! Dry spells are no fun.. almost makes you wonder if email addresses aren't 'flagged' for winning for months at the time then BOOYAH! Back on top..

Keep sweeping..

How wonderful! Congratulations on your wonderful wins and for sharing your story. Those of us in dry spells need words of encouragement!
