My "First" Wins

In anticipation of winning my first [non-instant and/or big win], I just thought it would be nice if we started a Winner's Circle thread for people who have their first "milestone" wins, like first win, first instant win, first grand prize win, etc. :D I look forward to many people posting their first milestone wins here, including myself! :D

Just a clarification...
This isn't actually a thread about my first win, rather other people's first wins and milestone wins, like first instant win, first non-instant, grand prize win, etc. I haven't won anything but about 50 small instant win prizes. I will post on this thread when I win something other than instants, because I have not yet. I just saw a lot of threads about people's first wins (altogether), and just thought we could post some in one big thread. :D

I'll start it off & post Bobby's first GP win -

Time Warner/Roadrunner - Power Of You Sweepstakes - he won the $1,000 Time Warner Cable Reward Visa card!!! :shock:

He just faxed the affie today 8)

It was funny - at first we weren't sure WHICH one won, since they are BOTH Roberts but I called them & confirmed it - super nice people there at don jagoda associates inc!!!

He's hoping it's for any VISA purchase since the laptop died & he's wanting a new one!!! :wink:

Update - Bobbys Time Warner/Roadrunner - Power Of You Sweepstakes - $1,000 Time Warner Cable Reward Visa card came today!!! YAY!!! 8)

So I logged into mine ($50 win from Warner Bros in 2005) because it reminded me I had it & found someone STOLE my money - TWICE!!! :shock: :twisted:

On the 15th of June & July, they took...

99 cents. Yep. 99 cents x 2. :P

So I called the 800 #, and she had NO record of that account :? So she couldn't explain the theft :cry:


BUT... she asked why we never activated/used the account she DID see we had that was for $50! :shock: :?: :?: :?:

Turns out there was $21.00 in inactivity charges on it, & it would be $6.95 to send a new card - but since I told her I never even knew it existed, she waived the fees & is mailing me out a new one ASAP!!! How cool is that???

It was from AOL & a bunch of other sponsors, so I don't know what sweeps it's from - another mystery win :P

Too cool - the IW's have been igging me for over a week ( I know - waaaah :P ) but I usually win something every 3 - 4 days, like a Crunch bar coupon, etc, and was thinking I lost my timing :cry:

Does this take the cake for longest period for notification on an IW? 13 months!!! :P

Gotta go shopping & get the RAV smog checked - I hope I have time to enter my sweeps later - I was so busy adding sweeps & clipping coupons, then got sidetracked by DHL, that I haven't had the time yet!!! :shock:

MANY happy winners post while I'm gone & win all the prizes so I can skip entering today, OK??? :wink:

8) Thanks SA!!! I won 4 times this last week!!! Chef knife set from REAL SIMPLE, 500 dollars from NASCAR win, Nascar car, A 1000 gift cert.! I would have never known these contests exists w/o SA'S help & Im a sweeps queen. : )
