Most annoying?

I know, I know, we should be grateful for these sweeps and I truly am. However, there are a few that take so much time. Right now it is the new L.A.M.B. one and the Barilla Sweepstakes one that takes so long. What about you? Maybe I'll win on one of these now that I have bit-hed about them :sunny:
 
I don't have the patience to do the LAMB one. I took it out of my sweeps after the second day. The chances of me winning it are not that great, and I can enter probably 20 other contest in the time I spend on that one. Like you said earlier though, I am so grateful for this site. It is my hobby. I would freak out if I couldn't get online to do my sweeps!
 
I find a bunch of them annoying. But the ones I find annoying enough to not enter are-- barilla, hubba bubba and Banquet. I dont like the totinos either but I still enter it. Im a glutton for punishment I quess. I call it the curse of the coupon sweep. If it offers a coupon as a prize, even if they have 20,000, to give away. I will not win it. :cry:
 
I don't have a problem with any of them. I can even get through the L.A.M.B one pretty quick, but I continue sweeping in other open windows if I even have to wait a little bit for the page to load on any one sweep; but I'm on high-speed, so it's not bad at all. I won on the Banquet one, so I don't have to do that one anymore. :)
 
Just spent about 20 min doing that GMC NFL challenge weekly, where there are three different portions. Then you have to click on all the cars and listen to video about each feature on each car. That takes forever, but there is supposed to be instant wins there. Then the challenge questions. anyway, got it all done just now and it said I earned 2 entries. What the heck? I did all they asked for and took forever. I should have earned 3 entries.
 
That one should just take a minute to do too. When you go to the video one and click on the truck you pick, you should automatically get your entry without having to let the video go on. One, you just have to make a quick pick; and the last one, you just have to answer three questions (wrong or right).
 
:sunny: I have to agree with karajane! Those Caffeine instants drive me crazy! They aren't hard to log in to, but I just find them annoying, especially since I have played, played and played and never one. Before eprize started these, I use to win once in a while. ahh the good ole days! :cheers:
 
Caffeine Now sweeps were created by ePrize to give small businesses that don't have the financial resources the same opportunity as the big sponsors to run a sweepstakes. These small business combine their resources in order to be able to give out prizes like the big sponsors. The prizes are pooled and shared by all business. So, each one you enter is for the same group of prizes. As long as you enter each one, you won't diminish your odds of winning.

For anyone who has been handtyping their email address in. All you have to do is copy your email address from the first sweep of the day you enter and continue just pasting it in all the email address lines on any entry form where Roboform can't. You don't have to keep handtyping your email address out.

The Caffeine Now Sweeps are a breeze to get through. Especially, compared to sweeps that entail more effort like Banquet, Marie Callender, Shrek, etc.
 
LIDARKSIDE, I thought it said you had to click on the list of highlights for each vehicle (or the blue spot) as there could be instant wins there. So I have been going thru it all. UGH! Glad only a once a week sweep. Whatever, I am through doing that now :scratch:! Of course I don't know the answers to those football questions either so my score in that area is low. I don't even watch pro football. Will try it your way next time. Thanks!
 
I put the PITA's in a PITA folder, and only enter when I have the time, but there are a few I just totally give up on!

If a sweeps lags all my other pages, I drop it. NO prize is worth that aggravation!!! :cussing:

I have a notepad with all my info, UPC's, trivia, etc. that I have open & C&P from while I enter for the FLASH sweeps I can't save that info in robo for. Makes entering a snap!!!

I get my entry just by clicking on one vehicle. I get through that sweep in about a minute.
 
To me, the most annoying is "What's in Marie's Kitchen". Takes way too long. The weekly GMC which I just started to do and I gave up on the Caffeine IWs, mainly because there are so many and I try to limit my time to an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. There are alot of sweeps out there and even when I limit to just the things I really want, it takes too long. If I could win the Powerball jackpot, and didn't have to work for a living, that would give me much more time to do this!! :laughing: No luck last night with that again either!
 
Just a hint for those not already doing this. On more involved sweepstakes, jump to other open windows and continue sweeping while you wait the few seconds or so for these sweeps to load. Don't sit there and watch it load!! :crazytongue:
 
By far the most annoying sweeps are the ones that say "Sorry, you are not a winner." :laughing:
 
Because of my sloooooooooooow dial up, I absolutely detest any sweep on the Food Network, DIY, Fine Living, HGTV, etc............... network.

I don't care much for the Marie Callender, GMC, Barilla, and some of the others. I just minimize them after they start loading, and go on to something else, then come back to them. I do that with the Caffeine too - I get about 4 or 5 loading, immediately minimize and then do them...saves a lot of time. I'm pretty impatient and can't wait around for something to load!

I also "dislike" the ones that have so many steps just to get to enter (like the Dallas Newspaper, hormel sweepstakes American Idol, etc.) My favorites are the ones that I can just put in my email!
