Hello- Yesterday in the New Sweeps category for Jan 3rd, there were 66 total sweeps.
Now today [for yesterday, Jan 3rd] it says there were 199.... am I seeing this correctly?
And how often does this happen?

it depends on what time of day you look a the new sweeps list. New sweeps are added all day long sometimes, especially at the beginning of a month. You are best off checking on and off all day up into the late evening.

So that's why a member here said here that they enter the New Sweeps 'the day after'!
I do have another question regarding facebook sweeps. After you fill out the form it says, 'Thank You. You have been entered', and the pop-up 'Publish to your wall' comes up. If you just signout without publishing it to your FB Wall, will your entry still be valid?

I don't know anything about FB, but about the original question...

In the past, new sweeps were posted by 1:00 or 2:00 ET. If you go through the new sweeps listing earlier than that, you will need to return to see that more sweeps were not posted after you entered/sweeps checked them. Unless things have changed, it may still be that way.

About entering the day after sweeps have posted...yes, you will not miss any this way, plus there is the additional benefit of seeing comments posted by people who entered on the first day. These comments could include codes, problems, solutions, tips, warnings...so there are a few good reasons why some people prefer to enter after the first day, and don't mind missing one day's entry on a daily, for example.

As you continue to sweep, you will find your own personal preferences. There are so many approaches. Just find what you enjoy and what works best for you. :)
