Hello everyone! I wrote a JUDGED comment on their facebook page under the contest photo & won a trip to Miami! From facebook: "On June 23, we’re hosting hundreds of people ready to go the extra mile to paddle board through downtown Miami. For the chance to be a part of it, follow Michelob ULTRA then comment on this post with how you go the extra mile using #Contest." Here's what I wrote:
"I AM the extra mile when I do one more rep, one more minute, one more set. My end of the week treat: cold, delicious Michelob ULTRA #Contest"
Now when I wrote this I looked at the rules ahead of time to see if it was judged, see the judging criteria & other rules pertaining to the entry. Here's what I read:
Entry must be in English and one-hundred forty (140) characters or less (including #Contest). Entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges (“Panel”) selected by Sponsor based on the following judging criteria (“Judging Criteria”). The Judging Criteria includes: (a) Originality/Creativity of Entry; (b) Entry reflects the Michelob ULTRA brand image (pursuing an active lifestyle); and, (c) Entry reflects the Michelob ULTRA brand image (pursuing a balanced lifestyle). For each Entry Period, the Entry receiving the highest cumulative score awarded by the Panel will be deemed the winner of the corresponding Entry Period’s Prize.
I checked out my competition & saw that more than half weren't even following the rules! A lot of them were too long &/or didn't have the hashtag &/or didn't have anything to do with a healthy, balanced lifestyle, etc. So.... I had a good feeling about this one. They are giving away 3 trips total, & this is the first one. Here's what I won:
Entry Period #1 Prize – Michelob ULTRA Miami Paddle Event experience on June 23, 2016 for winner and one (1) guest to Miami, Florida for two (2) consecutive nights. Travel dates: June 22, 2016 – June 24, 2016. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) is up to $3,400.00. We are staying at a REALLY nice hotel (EPIC HOTEL & SPA) in downtown Miami, will get transportation to/from the airport & to/from the paddleboard event. There is a 3 hour after party on a boat after the paddle boarding (under a mile - not a race, whew!) with food, entertainment & of course Michelob Ultra!! They contacted me on facebook first, saying "We love your entry! Please send us your name, address, etc. etc. within 24 hours." The lady I am dealing with now is really friendly & actually gave me my choice of airlines, flight times, etc. which never before had a sponsor ever done for me when I have won a trip. She said that they want to make sure that me & my guest have the best experience & time. She told me that there will be a local winner there, but that I am the, "Grand National Winner." Woah! This is my 4th trip win! This is also my 4th essay win!! I'm pretty proud of that.
There is still time to win the next 2 trips! READ THE RULES & give them what they want. I would love it if someone from SA won the other 2 trips. Thank you SO MUCH SA! I am very glad my PLUS membership has been paying off!! Good luck everybody!!
