My daughter won a great win, she and I are going! I'm sure your daughter will love it! I won a trip to miami and was there in September.

Just some words of advice for YOU! There is NO BudLight Hotel, per se. They will probabably be putting you up in one of the hotels on the "South Beach Strip" (which is a 8 block stretch facing the beach). Be aware that this is a party-zone designed for the 20-30 year-old crowd. All the hotels are basically in a ratty run down condition and will not be what you might expect as the rooms will also be very small and basic and most likely trashed by the previous college student that stayed in it. :laughing:

They all have "disco" type bars on the first and 2nd floors that run 24 hours a day at full volume.

My advice to you would be to request a room on the very top floor and away from the street front! Otherwise you will get absolutely no sleep at all. Either that or invest in some really good ear plugs. If you get a choice of hotels to stay at ... PM me and I will send you an Excel spreadsheet listing all the hotels in South Beach and their ratings, locations, etc. (I made this when I was choosing which hotel I wanted to stay at there.)

If they don't provide transfers from the airport You can take the transit bus to south beach (which is cheap ... $2.50) or the sharevans (which cost almost as much as taxis ... $35-40.00 ... taxis are required to charge a flat rate to SB) or get a private towncar Limo to pick you up ($90.00). My advice is to splurge and get a towncar. You won't regret it.

Nope Loren, I didn't win it either boo-hoo :). But, I did win a trip to Las Vegas to the Miller-Lite Super Bowl Party two years ago! That was awesome. So, I'm thankful, no crying here. :crazytongue:
