I have noticed some new changes to the site which allways make it more interesting when you log on the most noticeable was the gold stars at each members name and our rankings Is this only for the times we post or is it our years at SA.
 
I think its for # of post. I have only been here since sept 06 I think. But I have posted like a crazy women. :laughing:I hope they put back the join date of members. I liked that. I like all the new things to.
 
Yes, it has to do with how much of a blabbermouth you are. I keep urging Admin to create a special category for ll1, but no luck yet. Here is how Admin has things set up:

New Member = 1 star = 0 - 9 posts
SA Bronze Member = 2 stars = 10 - 99 posts
SA Silver Member = 3 stars = 100 - 999 posts
SA Gold Member = 4 stars = 1000 posts and up
 
I have had an account fo years but something happened to all my posts.l Now to post until I have a gold star, lol. Spamming for stars in not good. :crazytongue:
 
But just look churchy, you have the word "Old Timer" under your name~I hope that makes you smile :)

I have posted 600+ over the years - I have no gold, silver or anything :cry:

Is it only for the ones I post from now on?

It is the quality of the posts and not the quantity. I have seen on boards pile up tons of posts from congratulations, sympathy, bad advice, and games for example. In my case there was a glitch or something, not sure but I have been here longer than you think, lol.

Quality is better than quantity.
 
That's right, Quality is more important that quantity!!!! Right ll1? :laughing:

Seriously, I would rather see someone post something with meaning than to just make a post about anything to get their counts up. That never made sense to me. The whole bronze, silver, gold came with the new forum. It's just something fun to laugh at. Personally, since it goes by vote count, ll1 should have a platinum category all to himself! :laughing:
 
I used to watch people begging for positive reputation, leave nasty remarks in the shout outs and reputations, and cry over bad reputation. They seemed more interested in their community standing than in the boards reason for being. Now for me to remember why I am here, lol.
