My husband won a trip to the Marlboro sweepstakes Ranch on the instant win game yesterday. We are both very excited as this is the first trip win for either of us.

UPDATE: My husband got an envelope yesterday with a check for $3,020.00. He has some health issues so they said that they weren't able to offer him a trip to the ranch. I'm a little disappointed that we don't get to go on the trip but money is always good.

You are going to have the best time ever! I went 2 years ago and it was absolutely amazing. Everything is taken care of down to the luggage and the people that work there are so friendly. Don't get me started about the food!! Unlimited is the key word there. Huge congrats to you guys!!
 
Awesome!! Have a great time!! Can I ask what age group you fall in?? I've heard rumors that they keep the trip wins to 30 and under and was just wondering if it was true...
 
I won the trip last year.. I am 55..I received a letter that they had opted to send me a check..I was so heartbroken..but the check cheered me up quite a bit..lol
 
Did they say WHY they opted to give you a check? If I won the trip,I'd really like to go and I'm 46.Just keep hearing the 30 and under rumors.

My husband is 54 and I am 39. He won on the instant win though so I don't think the age thing applies. I have heard the same thing about only certain ages being sent invitations though.

I hope you actually get the trip and not offered the check,tho that's a nice chunk of money! Let us know how it was!!
