Am I missing something with these playing cards from Marlboro sweepstakes?

It's black print on black material ........ I contacted the card maker, and this is what they told me;

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Cartamundi about the promotional playing cards you received.

As you may be aware, we are a manufacturer of custom playing cards as well as a wide variety of other “made to order” products. Many card decks are considered novelty or collector items, while others are intended for the professional user. The black decks in your box with contrasting clear gloss print were created as a special collectible novelty set. These decks were not created as “every day” use cards.

We hope that you are able to use these cards on special occasions and others for your typical play sessions. We do appreciate your feedback and hope that you do understand that this custom product was manufactured specifically as a collectible giveaway.

Sincerely,
Cartamundi USA

:crazytongue:

I thought maybe you need a black light to use them ,but found no such info online about them.As far as I'm concerned I am now the proud owner of 2 useless decks of cards!

They aren't useless....Use them on the spokes of the kids' bikes like we did when we were kids. I guess that would be lame today though.

:laughing: I''m not sure you want to hear a congratulations so how about sorry about your win! :whistle:

Oh, , , , nonono. I appreciate all wins, and this post is testament I give it my all to be understanding, etc ... but this just confuses me. :laughing:

Looks like they might be fun to pull out for a gag game of poker. Congrats on you interesting win. LOL :cry:

Not crying about it, just curious why someone would make cards you can't read.

I actually collect playing cards myself, yet, this is not collectible no matter how many times I'm told that.

A car without wheels

Well, maybe start a retro trend: give 'em to kids to use clothespins with to stick them in their bicycle spokes so they make that
flapping sound when they ride :laughing:
