Mail-In Entries?

I have noticed more and more that companies are turning to Purchase or Mail-in requirements for entry. I feel like I'm missing out, especially for instant wins. Is anyone here still entering via mail? With the cost of stamps these days it seems like it could get really expensive. Are you winning with mail-in entries? I'm guessing that odds of winning are higher for sweeps that can only be entered via purchase or mail-in. Am I missing out? Thanks for reading :)

If it's a prize that I'm really interested in like an Xbox or a PlayStation I would definitely give it a try. I will say that I wasted a lot of time effort and money on stamps on the Doritos Rockstar giveaway. For the amount of entries I mailed in I didn't receive anywhere near the amount of codes I was supposed to. I saved up 100 entries and didn't even win a pair of socks. LOL. When it comes to mail an entries I only stick to single entry contests at this point. Daily Mail and entries are certainly possible but it ends up costing fair bit of money. If you have the option between a mail-in or a purchase, I would consider the purchase as you have more of a guarantee of receiving a code.
