Mail in entries

So when a mail in sweeps asks for only 3 x 5 index cards...what does that mean? I dont send it in an envelope? I didn't think you could just mail in the index cards by themselves. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated
 
If it require an envelope it will be noted in the rules. If it states a 3x5 card then that's what they want.
 
Pretty sure 4x6 is the smallest the USPS will accept, so 3x5's have to be sent in an envelope :scratch:
 
They want you to use a 3X5 CARD for your entry-as opposed to a 3X5 piece of paper. Yes, mail it in an envelope-use a standard #10. (3X5 cards are available at most stores- unlined "index cards".) Good Luck! :sunny:
