Received mail last week that I was the grand prize winner in the Lover's Giveaway. Won a Macbook Pro valued at $2200. I have been entering contests like crazy again and it is finally paying dividends.

That’s a scam I have received 2 emails last week stating I was the grand prize winner of a MacBook Pro I tried looking up the contest their website doesn’t exist

Received mail last week that I was the grand prize winner in the Lover's Giveaway. Won a Macbook Pro valued at $2200. I have been entering contests like crazy again and it is finally paying dividends.

I thought I won that one too. I emailed back to them to let me know the expiration date and to send me a copy of the rules and I never heard back. Several people on here informed me it was a scam and there was that same message from others on another sweeps site.

From another Sweepstakes site: “ It seems that many users are being contacted that they won the The Lovers MacBook Pro Giveaway, which I had posted last summer. This is a scam, please don’t give them any of your information. I’m not sure what happened, since their giveaway ended 4 months ago. It might have been a scam contest all along, or somebody might have acquired their website, but I’m sorry for sending it out. I try to avoid posting the sketchy looking contests, and I’ll continue to research them before posting and hope it doesn’t happen again! Thanks ”
