LOSING STREAK.... Anyone else??

I was averaging 1 win per month since starting doing my sweepstakes daily last July... now I know I'll get slack for it... but I havent won since DECEMBER!! Getting frustrated. Not trying to be a crybaby but :cry: I cant help it. Why is it when you NEED money, or items you don't get them lol??? Not really angry just curious as to how everyone else is doing? Losing streaks? Winning streaks? Same?? Thanks!* :cheers:
 
Me toooo hang in there.....maybe if we post the on "whiners" both of our luck will change!!!! Good luck...
 
Same here - no wins this year at all.
Determined so keeping with it - it may only be a day away.

Just small wins here for the past few months. Keep at it though, remember it's a numbers game and the more you enter, the better your chances and eventually something will hit for you. Good luck to us all. Thanks SA for publishing the winners - it keeps us going!
 
I was thinking that I was on a losing streak, but then I received diamond earrings that I won back in January. I guess I can't complain too much since I just started in December. Don't lose hope because a contest you win now could be what you receive in the next month or so.
 
Yes, not doing very well on instant win games at all. I think something has changed with the instant wins in the past year or so, as well. I actually think that the companies running the sweeps and sponsors are using the instant win format to gain more and more exposure, i.e. being able to post their ads on facebook, etc., without giving away many prizes. This is what I have decided is going on. It's just ridiculous how I can't win a darn thing and I do feel like I am wasting much time doing instant wins these days.
 
:cry: Losing streaks always end! The secret is to be CONSISTENT with your entries- it takes discipline to do it every day, but that's the key to success!
 
I am as dry as the Sahara desert here, I get a few little things from instant wins but that is it, chin up, I am hoping for a rainy season!!! :sunny:
 
I am doing great. I have 62 wins this year. The thing that is amazing to me is that the first 2 years I entered sweepstakes I got 35 wins each year. And now I have 62 wins and the years is not even half over. I am doing better than I did last year when I got 186 wins. Don't give up.

OH MY I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL AND DON'T GET ME STARTED. I AM SPENDING AT LEAST 40 HOURS A WEEK SWEEPING (YES IT'S MY OTHER FULL TIME JOB) I'M UP TILL ABOUT 1AM EVERY NITE SWEEPING FROM THE TIME I GET HOME TILL THE TIME I GO TO BED. LAST YEAR I HAD SOME GOOD WINS BUT SINCE 2012 NOTHING REALLY...LITTLE THINGS LIKE A 25.00 GIFTCARD HERE OR THERE BUT NOT WHAT I SHOULD OR WANT TO BE GETTING FOR WHAT I'M PUTTING THE TIME IN FOR. IVE BEEN EXTREMELY DEPRESSED AND UPSET AND DOWN ABOUT THIS AND MY HUSBAND IS CONCERNED. I GIVE UP A LOT TO SWEEP AND IT'S NOT PAYING OFF. I DON'T WANT TO GIVE UP CUZ I REALLY DO LOVE SWEEPING AND KNOW THE POTENTIAL TO WIN BUT ITS GETTING HARD. I DO NEED SOME ENCOURAGEMENT AND WINS HERE IN THE FUTURE.

I have been on a bit of a dry spell lately too. But I keep entering, the way I look at it is sweeping is cyclical: you'll lose some and win some.

Keep entering...a win might just be around the corner :)

When I am on a losing streak, I always try to enter lots of blog sweepstakes, the entries are usually kind of low and getting a win (even if it is just a bar of soap or something small) really keeps me motivated.

I also try to enter new kinds of sweepstakes when I am on a losing streak. I recently started entering pinterest sweepstakes, but I havent won anything...yet!
 
 
Without having read the other answers yet... I think that if you do sweeps a lot, you have periods of quite a few wins, and some periods with very little. I had a slow January and February and am now picking it up a notch or two. Hope it gets luckier for you soon, southavetreasures!
