Leite's Culinaria Entry Question... Is it possible that I'm that unlucky?

Just a quick question for you more sucessful sweepers. I've been entering on a daily basis CULINARIA Giveaways ( up to 3x daily per e-mail address) for years and have never won a prize. With all the entry possiblities and my dogged determination to win I'm scratching my head. I use RoboForm for entry and continue to tell myself "this mixer, juicer, can opener, knife set is mine". Do we have sweepers here that have been on the happy end of a Culinaria random draw? It really is a nice web site but man, am I that unlucky?
 
It's not that you're unlucky, you just aren't lucky enough yet! They have many sweepers entering their giveaways. There have been SA members that have posted wins. With as many years as I have into sweeping, this is one that eludes me, too. I don't enter for all of them anymore, just for the items that I would like to win. I just figure that someday I will get a notice like I have for those other ones that I have entered for years.
 
This is one of those daily entries that I actually won a couple of times. I have the worst luck with daily entries. Luck is luck (or odds are odds :) ) some people are just luckier with some companies/types of sweeps. Coke Sweepstakes is one that has always eluded me, aside from a couple free coupons. But, I've heard of some sweepers that have had lots of luck with them. Keep trying and the odds will be in your favor. :)

I learned that the more I wanted to win a certain sweeps/prize, the less likely I would win it. As in nada, bupkus. It's one of the many things that motivated me to write the sweepers credo:

The Sweeper's Credo:

Enter and forget it.

Always be happy for those who win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win.

If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!!

I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

So hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - and you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!

Oddly enough I rarely win small prizes, but I've won a few grand prizes since I started last August. I do think some people have better luck with certain contests. Believe it or not, I would love to win a couple of small gift cards like everyone else, not just grand prizes, but I don't. Good luck and don't give up!
 
I have seen some winners on their contests, but I have not saw any winners for the major prizes, like mixers and higher end stuff, only small things like cookbooks etc, but I continue to enter even though they are a PITA. If anyone has ever won anything major, I have never saw a post about it.
