LA trip grand Prize win

Got the email last week that I was the grand prize winner in a local essay contest. I didn't think I had a shot because I am a terrible writer- but that just goes to show you to always enter!

We get to fly to LA, stay at the Loews Hollywood Hotel and go to a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Airport transfers are not part of the prize, so I am a little bummed about that, but really...what's to be bummed about? :-)

A bunch of other news stations are having the same contest, so make sure you check! Its the "Search for the Biggest Jimmy Kimmel Fan in History!"
 
Congrats! I think it is very meaningful to be selected for your essay (vs a random win) so double congrats!

I hope you have a really great trip! :cool:
 
Airport transfers are minimal in the scheme of things. The optimist cheering you on. ;o) Focus on the poisitive & Enjoy.
 
Congratulations on the WIN! By the way, I'm pretty impressed and I'm sure we all are that you wrote an essay, keep up the good work..!!That is great!
 
Go online to Loew's website and check it out. There used to be a "frequent guest" program to sign up for which got you some goodies when you arrive. Even if you've never stayed at one before (I won a trip that included a Loew's; very expensive), a "frequent guest" has to start somewhere!
