Know not to set my sights on 1 particular prize, BUT....

there are days when I just about fall out of my chair thinking..
I want that soooo bad.

I was deep into that online poker, Daniel Negreanu, Scotty Nguyen, and all into worshiping these people
as "winners".. hold'em poker.. horse.. stud.. you name it, I would want to play it.. :laughing:

I saw that WSOP prize listed as a sweeps.. and doubt I win.. but if I even get in a room with these folks,
I would be too busy looking for my idols to even play a hand.. lol

and, I was going to ask if anything in particular catches your eye..
but then thought..
nope can't do that...
then that sweep will get overrun with entrants... :nono:

oh well, the ramblings of a woman star struck on gamblers ... :crazytongue:
 
It's better to consentrate on the type of prize you would like to win. For example, I usually don't waste my time with dailys unless that are vacation or cars. You never know what you might miss out on if you only enter one sweep.
 
:sunny: I think we all probably have a particular prize that we would really like to win. There have definitely been many prizes over the years that I have set my sights on and made sure to enter faithfully all the sweeps I could find offering that prize. I can honestly say that I have been very lucky in getting most of the particular items that I wanted. It may have taken more than a year, but I am patient and persistant. Try to stay positive and persistant and you may find yourself sitting in the winner's seat for the prize that you have your eye one! :headbang:
 
My DH is also a fan and I keep an eye out for these seats every year for him. Since he plays online and does fairly well, I'd love to see him play on TV!!!

8 years and not yet, but someday he WILL win, lol!!! :crazytongue: :whistle:

I agree with someone (desertgirl) who said it is good to go after the kind of prize you want. Makes sense. Right now, if a person wanted an ipad, there are hundreds of contests to get one. Some items are harder to get, obviously. :) I want $$$...and so many compete with me for that! LOL! :laughing: And GL Carmont and Amy's DH!

Since they usually combine a trip & sometimes cash with the seat, lots of people who want to travel and don't give a fig about poker enter too :cry: :laughing:

Ah well, the Universe WILL provide... one of these days :whistle:


Hopefully it will be an SA'er who IS a fan - like you or my DH!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
