I dont think with most of them that you have to use the money like they say. I did read the rules for the fram instant and it says something like after the garage has been done any money left over will not go to the winner. well, not those words but ya know what im saying. :smt003 most times I think you can do what ya want with it.

Many times the rules will state something like the $10,000 to be used towards a new kitchen. The Winner will receive a check in the amount of $10,000 which may be used for remodeling winner's kitchen. That would mean it can be used however you wish. When the sponsor, as stated above is specific about the money being spent, then, no you cannot use it for anything else. It depends on how it is spelled out.
