They used to give entries for clicking through the site, but now there's a new system I can't figure out. Has anybody else looked at it? :scratch:
 
I haven't been able to figure it out yet. It doesn't look like they have a 10,000 daily winner, if they do, I can't find it. let me know if you can find it. thanks
 
They have a cheesy new games page, and you get entry points by playing their games. I gave them feedback that I don't like the new look, don't like playing games, and used to use the site to read the news.
 
Iwon is my home page (where my browser logs into automatically). I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but if you start looking around and playing a few games, you'll find it's actually a lot easier to win and get more entries than before. :laughing:
 
Did you win something? I have been navigating to the site for years to read the news, and try for the $10,000. Never won.
 
I have been playing for years too, never won the 10,000 daily. did they take that away with the new site , I don't see the 10,000 daily.
i like the new look. i like the new games. they are easy to play, and actually enjoyable.
 
I don't like the change at all. The games aren't that bad, but having to play them just for entries into the sweepstakes is too time consuming for me. Especially since you don't get many points per game. They did away with the 10,000 daily prize and replaced it with a lame 100 one, the weekly sweep is 500, a couple of monthly that seem to vary from month to month, and they still have the million yearly prize. All of these require you to earn points, and then decide where you want to put them. 100 points= 1 entry. Searches will give you points but only 10 points per search so it takes 10 searches to get 1 entry. I haven't tried to figure out a set amount of points per game yet, but I do know that some of the games weren't giving points at all the last time I was there. So I was just playing those games for nothing. All in all, they have tried to come up with a way to get people to spend more time at their site but reward them less. Reminds me of what Coke Sweepstakes did when they brought out New Coke: fixed something that wasn't broken and lost customers in the process.
 
Most of all, the new games page looks way tacky! They brought themselves down a peg, from a decent homepage with mail, news and weather. Maybe they needed to cut back on the rewards.
 
I think that's why they did what they did, $10,000 a day was probably getting pricey for them. I won some money from them on the old site once, (not the daily), but have not won anything on the new one yet. I think it will take them a while to work out the kinks, but it seems pretty nice. They have other prizes as well, now, too. Like Amazon GCs and WIIs, and Ipods. :wave:
 
For years I entered faithfully on IWON, gave it up about 5 years ago. Just started sweeping again so I went to IWON first and WOW was I shocked :cry:. The only way to win is to play the games, play the prize wheel, do the pick 7 or spin the wheel which is where I won $50 last week :headbang:.

A while back I remember seeing a comment on SA about a memeber who actually won the $10,000. They even had a link in their comment to the page with their picture on it. I thought that was pretty cool. But, I don't remember who it was, sorry. I don't like the new look and system either. Takes to long. It's no longer on my favorites.
 
Do know a person that won the million many years ago. He works as a slot supervisor at Harrah's casino in Atlantic City, know he continued to work but not sure he's still there now. There have also been $10,000 winners close to my area and my doctor knows someone that one of the computer packages in the monthy sweeps they had. But even though I won $50 recently I'd have to say that IWON.com is making it's way to the bone yard.
 
There are no rules given for the games so you don't know HOW you are building points - or if you are just playing for fun. The new format is AWFUL!!! I used to play here often -- now it's GOODBY !! Too much wasted time !
