Is email address a factor in getting wins?

I have been entering about 400 sweeps a day (IW, FB and here on SA of course!) and I have noticed that I definately do not win as much as everyone else on here. I already read the 'why aren't you winning" article. Besides that my email begins with sweepsgirlwinner@..... I thought I read on here somewhere that if it looks like you are a 'sweeper' you won't get as many wins? Has anyone else heard of this?

I can't imagine that sponsors that run a sweepstake don't want a sweeper to win. In my own opinion they would actually get more bang for their buck as the sweeper will most likely mention the sponsor when posting and telling other sweepers about the prize that they won. I would definitely like to see any research that would conclude the theory that if your email address looks like it belongs to a sweeper that you will win less.
Also some people are just luckier than others and may be entering many more sweeps than you. Sending good luck vibes out to you!

I posted about the a few weeks ago. I have the word "sweeps" in my email address and was wondering about this too. A while ago, I did read on FB that there were some bloggers who sweepers suspected were not selecting or considering email addresses of sweepers - I don't have any hard facts on this but was wondering about that - however, I have won an international trip, 5k cash and loads of other smaller prizes this year, so I am guessing at least for larger companies/contests that it doesnt really matter
