In the Official Rules, it states......

...Mail-in entries must be postmarked by September 30, 2007. Limit one entry per outer mailing envelope.

Does this type of rule mean that it's a "one entry" type?

No. It is to stop people from stuffing envelopes and mailing in 100 entries in one envelope.

Read the rules to see what the limitations are. If it says one entry per day then that is the limit. If it says one entry per person then that is the limit. That limit overrules the limit of one entry per envelope.

as churchy says, that wording means one entry per envelope if there is no other attachment.then it is unlimited as long as each entry is in a seperate envelope (with a stamp on each envelope of course)

I posted just before my crash, lol.
People will do some crazy things.

The same is with different ways to enter like telephone, text messaging, snail mail, online, and in magazine postcards. If it says one entry per day then it is one any way you choose unless otherwise stated. I look at rules like math as there is an order in which they do things. First is the limit on quantiites of entries then on types of entries such as "one per envelope", one any method, and no auto entries.

If in doubt then go for the strictest interpretation is my motto. If rules are silent about how many then I consider it one time. Knowing my luck the TOS or some other legal section will state one entry each then I get no entries because I missed that. Recently I saw a site that had very clear rules but had added onto the forms no entries outside the continental US.

Thanks Lee and & Churchy. I have a sports illustrated magazine and there's some hawaii trip in there and I wasn't sure what that really meant. Entries start on Monday... So I'll do 1 a day. Thanks alll again.... :sunny:

If you do snail mail then make sure they get it post marked daily. Snail mail people talked about that at a convention. They are like rituals and some will go twice a day to get different times for their entries. It is a pain for them when their mail does not get post marked on the day they give it to the post office.

It could be worse like mail trucks getting destroyed or in our town the mail boxes for drop off were set on fire. :nono:

ok since we are chatting about this. I have some confusion about the snail mail rules.

Hand print name, complete street address and daytime phone number on an Official Entry Form or a piece of 3 x 5 paper. Mail to: KIMBERLY CLARK "BACK TO SCHOOL" SWEEPSTAKES, P.O. Box 8542, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 Unlimited entries but each entry must be mailed separately in a hand-addressed, stamped envelope.

They want an envelope and a 3X5 card??? I don't know, for some reason I am so confused by this. lol

Nope it has to be paper. It can be any paper unless it says plain paper. You can cut any paper to size.

I heard that one at the convention.
