Unfortunately, because of our official rules on the tablet giveaway, we needed to have the info provided from our sweepstakes winners to our sponsors by 72 hours after the contest ended. I’m sorry that I forgot to check up during that time (I was extremely busy preparing for E3 business!), but if you would like to ever receive any future IGN beta access to games (or other cool prizes), please let me know! J

WOW!!! That totally stinks!!!! I know they have rules but..... I was late one time when I won a trampoline and I still received it but I guess it's at the discretion (SPELLING?) of the sponsers!!!! I know I would be hating it if I won but didn't respond in time!!!! Hope you win soon again though!!!
 
That is why Iam so mad,its not because I was late,I replied to the email immediately,according to Eric, he was to busy and forgot to send the info to the sponsers not me,that is just NOT fair!
 
I would congtact the sponsor directly and send them the email that that guy sent you saying he was too busy!!!

jimbkr - I'd go to the sponsor, and calmly lay out the facts; timeline, correspondence, etc. - they just *might* decide to fire that guy and compensate you somehow - gl & let us know what happens! :sunny:
 
Thanks everyone,I need all the help I can get. According to the official rules the sponsor is IGN Entertainment and I have been trying since April to contact someone via phone and email and nobody will reply. I just got this reply from Eric today,he is the one who sent the you have won email. So what are my options? just to keep trying to contact IGN?

Try posting on their facebook wall. I have found that often, after everything else has failed, that this will work. Twice I have been able to get help this way. Good luck. (Their facebook page is listed as IGN Entertainment.)
 
Thanks for that info but I already tried posting to their wall,but it must be prescreened because nothing ever posts,this is crazy,I call the San Fransisco Office and the reception desk voicemail is not accepting anymore messages.There were two tablets supposed to be given away i wonder if the other winner got theirs?

Right - most have it set to only a few who can start posts - comment to something they already posted, I'd pick the most recent one, gl!
 
Try sending them a direct message on twitter or tweeting the sponsor...I think you might get a response, maybe get some of your followers to also retweet your tweet.
