I won, Game Show Network, or did I?

I got an email from Game Show Network, saying I won an Amazon Echo Show... "go here to verify you won".. the link goes to their site, listing the monthly winners. MY name was NOT on the list. The verification form they wanted me to fill and send back wanted my SS number, driver's license number.... All things I have filled out in the past when I won a big ticket thing that was over 600.00. But for a small thing? Usually they just send you the prize.... I was suspicious.

I tried to get them to verify if I actually won, via Facebook Messenger but no answer... I did NOT send in that info, I did not claim that Echo! TOO suspicious! One time, I also got an email from some contest where I won $25.00 and they also had asked for all that info.... TOO suspicious!
 
Personally, I would not give all that information for a small prize either.

Usually it is alcohol companies that will ask even for a small prize. I pass.
 
Game Show Network is a Very Good Sponsor and Organization. We actually have a contact at Game Show Network. I'll check with them to see if you received an email from them
or someone ( pretending ) to be them. For all the new sweeps people out there, you can stay safe by never paying a cent to receive a free prize.

I talked with GSN. This is what they said.

There’s a space for it on our Winner Affidavit, but they’re not required to provide to claim this particular prize since it’s a lower value at $100. If they are a winner, they can check their winner status on our website: https://www.gsntv.com/listing/winners
