I won - but will not be taking home a prize

Vent!

I know I have been away a long time, but I can not believe how much things have changed! I use to do a lot of sweepstakes years ago, but when my mom became terminally ill, I had to stop doing them so I could devote all of my time into taking care of her. She passed away 18 months ago and so I decided to try my hand at it again. So I started entering a few here and there over the past 2 months. I normally do not enter voting sweeps, but thought Id try my hand at it.

Long story -short.... I won... but I wont be taking home any prize! My entry was turned in to the sponsors by 2 contestants that I passed up and the sponsor disqualified me for exchanging votes with people on here (I vote for you, you vote for me) ..... THE EXACT same thing the top 4 contestants do, have done and are still doing.... Since when did it become acceptable to sabatoge a fellow sweepstakers entry, to gain a win? Hurt does not even cover it! How can someone enjoy a win, knowing they only won by having their competition disqualified for doing EXACTLY what they do. What happened to respect and honor among sweepstakers??? When I use to do sweepstakes years ago..... we were a family, it use to be "I got your back"... now it appears to be "watch your back"... WOW

I had received a PM on facebook from contestant #3, saying her and contestant #2 didnt think I was able to get that many votes that quickly so they were going to send screenshots to the sponsor ...... Yet **BOTH** participate in exchanging votes with fellow sweepstakers (as many of us do) on vote exchange boards! So I've lost winning a TV for my sister..... what.... because I wont back stab my fellow sweepstakers? Sorry winning a TV isnt important enough to me - to stoop that low or to lose the respect Ive gained over the past 20 years! They can have at it!!!!!

Mine is the first one (old picture of little girl) with 1101 votes, Jenny H has 819 votes, Kristina G has 815 votes.

Wow, I am so sorry that happened to you, that's just cruel. I hope u don't give up because of this. Good Luck with your future sweeps :)

No, Im not giving up.... I believe in Karma.

I can only account for what I do.

I know I could never accuse someone of cheating, report it to the sponsor ..... without knowing FOR SURE that person did something I myself am not doing, and Have fellow sweepstakers know that I behaved in such a dishonorable way.

I will still help those that I can help with votes. But I will not forget the 2 people involved here.
 
When I 1st started sweeping, I learned quick to keep a win under wraps until I physically held it because of harpies like them. I never entered vote sweeps {too lazy} but I saw that competition was fierce, and cheaters prospered, so I never bothered to even try.

I agree with you - karma may take weeks/months/years, but those who live low will eventually be brought down by the same forces they use. The few times I've truly been treated unfairly, those involved lead themselves into troubles.
