I just started with a new computer and it has the dreaded Windows 8 on it. I have a lot of trouble moving between things with it, but finally have SA all set up and I can log in fine. In the middle of a session I get a "this page cannot be displayed" message and I have to reload SA which can take 5 minutes to get it to respond. When I get back in, it shows me as logged in but nothing is in "my sweeps" unless I logout and login again. This has happened on average 3-5 times in my 2 hour session every day. There isn't any particular thing that seems to cause the problem.
