but it's getting REALLY bad. I just cannot win anymore. I know persistence is key as I've been doing this a long time, but it really is not the same as it used to be. I certainly can't win a instant for the life of me (not even Bliss, Wendy's frosty, etc.)...I used to have stuff coming to my mailbox almost daily. It seems for the past 4 months or so there is just nothing coming in (or very little). It's gone on so long now, and I'm so frustrated :cry: I miss the excitement, and it was so fun entering. Now it just seems so mundane and a waste of time. Help - I need some words of support. Am I the only one noticing the changes?
 
I haven't had any problems here. Just my two cents, but I notice alot of people saying that they enter all their instants all together. If you do that, then you're doing all your instants together in the same block of time. Mine are listed with whichever frequency it would pertain to--most of which are in alphabetical order along with all of my other daily's. So, I'm actually entering instants spread out throughout the day, hitting more varied times than doing them in a block period.
 
LOL ... I know how you're feeling!

But I just look at it like this: If I weren't entering sweeps I would just be hanging out down at the Legion Club. I might get "lucky" there ... but that's a different story altogether ... LOL

As I have said in previous posts: I have to be happy with what I've got so far. A $30,000.00 trip to Oz gives me a lot of "down time" before I win something else. I was extremely lucky and now I have to pay the price. LOL

The way I figure it, (it would take too much time to explain) it is only once in 30,000 entries that you will finally hit a good one. So, since I cheated the Sweeps Gods the first time around, I figure it is going to be at least another year before I win something good again.

So where are you going to waste your 30,000 entries? On instant choco wins or on a trip around the world?

Don't worry! It will come around!

You live on the San Juan Islands??? My husband and I were thinking of taking a trip up there sometime to check it out for retirement (unless you don't want anymore people there :cry:) I hear it is BEAUTIFUL! What's the weather like this time of year?

I won a car last year, so I really can't complain either, it's just that sometimes when I do complain, it helps me win. I love winning gift cards, and that's why I still play the instants.

LIDARKSIDE - good point, I usually do play mine all together. I'll try spreading them out a bit and see if that helps. BTW - I finally won a Wendy's frosty today too (on the last day!). Two very small wins, but I'm very happy!

Right now? Let's see ... (sticks head out window) ... hmm, about 65 degrees, sunny. The Orca whales are holding a big bash tonight before they head back South for the winter.

If you decide to come up, let me know and I will give you the grand tour. And if ya all behave yourselves I might even take you to the Legion Club! :crazytongue:

I'm glad that you won something. I haven't really won anything major since I started but I know when it happens it will be awesome. (nothing like a year supply of fabric softner...lol)
 
It's not just you. I used to win several times a week and now it's weeks between a lot of times. I just know that with as many sweeps as I submit to I'm bound to win something big sometime soon & try not to get too discouraged. I also take one day off a week from sweeping (Sunday) which helps me not get burned out. Congrats on the win - hope it gets the ball rolling! :cheers:
 
I know hat you are talking about it is depressing I use to score a lot , I keep saying its like my name is on a black list or something and it started all of a sudden, I even thought about trying another sweep site but I am still giving it a try little by little wins come in but they are small , Stick it out < i am if you need to whine I will whine with you HAng in There....

While switching to SA DID help me - I went from lots of little "gimmes" to some good ones, it's really all in the timing.

Before I started to win with any regularity, I saw people post they thought they were black balled/black listed & I couldn't comprehend it - unless you had cheated, why would they??? :scratch:

I've never won HOF big, but I too have been all over the map, with looooong dry spells (thankfully I usually get a swag buck or 2 a day to keep from feeling like a complete loser, lol!!!) and I've noticed something - it's when I enter about the same time/in the same order every day that I can't hit, so I mix it up & that usually works :headbang:
