Howcan I do this faster?

I enter lots of sweeps--I started with SA in June 07. I have won a few really nice things, too, so thanks SA!

My question is, how do people enter appx 500 sweeps per day? I think I can do about 100 per day, but that is with using all of my extra time, and staying up way too late. My house becomes quite a mess when I do it.

I stay at home with my two little toddlers, so I would think I would have more time to enter than someone who is at work (thank goodness for naptime). But I would like to keep entering more, so is there a shortcut I am missing?

I tried the automatic thing that SA offers, but it kept crashing my computer so I had to uninstall it. Now, I get through my instant wins each day (mostly) and about 20 daily entries. And whatever new ones come out. Toward the end of December, I was way overwhelmed and overtired entering all of those!

I guess it's easy to get addicted to this stuff, especially when you win. I would love to win lots in 2008 (I have two big birthdays coming up in my family and would like to give them something special so am hoping for a trip or something) so would like to enter more, but am finding I am being very picky on which to add to my list of sweeps so that I know I'll have time to enter them.

Any tips are welcome! Thanks a lot. And great site--I love it!

in the paid version of robo-form you can have unlimited passcards which make entering faster, even bookmarking your sweeps can speed up time. I only enter about 100 sweeps a day myself and it varies between 1 and 1and a half hours depending if the sweep needs to be manually filled out.

Have you tried Roboform? It takes rather a bit to learn to use all the features-I'm still learning new things about how to use it (thanks the the very helpful people here) but once you have it set up properly it really helps! Wait, lee said that already

I have been doing this for a while. High speed internet and a good computer definitely made the biggest difference in boosting how many I could enter a day. I don't use Roboform, I use SA's autofill. Never really took the time to check out roboform, maybe one day I will have to try it. With time you get faster at entering. I also will open up multiple sweeps at the same time especially on ones that take time to load so I spend the time entering another contest.

It is very easy to get addicted to entering sweeps. There was a time where I was trying to enter as many as possible and it was getting out of hand. My poor kids were telling me I spent too much time on the computer and I was. I cut way back now and I only enter for the things I really want and when I have extra time. I don't win much but it's OK w/ me because it's just not worth losing sleep over and time with my kids.

Robo is a huge help. I can't think of anything else that helped me as much.

I'd also suggest to avoid burnout, do only the sweeps that you really want to win and could take if you won. Having toddlers, and I had 3 at once at one time, it's very stressful already. keeping your sweep daily total down is easy. Just look at each sweep hard and say "Do I really want that?"

I do my OTO and weeklies at a certain time every week.

Sweep when they are taking naps hopefully they do unlike my vampire daughter who stopped napping at 1 and was NEVER cranky... I WAS CRANKY but not her!

Time yourself when you do dailies. It helps to know that "I need about 20 minutes to do them." That way you will know how much time you need.

When you do burn out, and everyone does, just leave the sweeps alone for a few days.

Kids are more important than sweeping. Remind yourself that when they are drawing on the walls with what's in their diaper. :crazytongue:

Or you can go to the now defunct child trade board and see if someone will trade them for a couple of teenagers. You never know...

I have no kids and can't move much so I can sit here and give myself carpal tunnel all day long. The best thing I've found for that is the trackball mouse, which takes a little getting used to but if you're going to sweep for 16 hours straight that is the mouse to have!

16 hours straight?

YOu need a life.

come visit me for a week

I have dial up which is the slowest thing EVER, but robo is the best investment that I made while sweeping. I have went into burnout mode ~ so what did I do??? Go to the forums!!! I just love SA.

My method is simple do the one time entries the day they come out and forget about them ~ then they are done! Go through and add dailies that I am interested in to my others, do other dailies IF I have time. Pick up new Instants ~ do other intants IF I have time.

You can always pick and choose through through daily and instant if you don't want to do them all. Remember ~ you don't have to play all those games ~ if you see the little "if you can't see the game click here___" button ~ click it to save time. It won't matter, you will still win if you win, or lose if you lose, but you will save time in the instants!!

Good luck in 2008!! I hope you have many wins and a lot more time on your hands!!

Roboform Pro (one-time fee of $30.00) is the best tool you can use for sweeping.

I do over 700 daily's in about 2 1/2 to 3 hours in addition to all the 1x sweepstakes I enter each day.

You can get help with Roboform in the "Computer Help" forum.

ping - your method sounds exactly like how my method works! I was reading your post going "yep, mm hmm, yep"....funny

I still use Google's AutoFill. Need to try out Roboform.

Gee.... 700 a day, dman....

A fast connection helps, as does the ability to type quickly. Try to enter like sweepstakes together, like all the edge ptown ones, or all the emails for one site. Makes things easier.

Jen ~ now if I can just win a matching car

Computer speed is also a factor, and there are always ways to tweak a computer to make it perform a little faster. Do regular computer housecleaning is also a must.
