how to take my email address off the spam alert

Guys I need your help a couple of years ago i put my name on the no dont receive spam mail. since then i have started sweeping and im worrined that im not getting winning email ( or it could just be the fact that im a loser) :) anyways i need to know how do i take myself of that list your help would be of great service to me thanks Madeline

As with the Do Not Call List, once you allow a sponsor to contact you, the fact that you are on that list becomes moot so they CAN contact you.

Trust me, you do NOT want to allow all spam JIC you may be missing a win!!!

btw - any email you solicit (ie agree to them contacting you) is NOT spam - spam is Unwanted/unsolicited email. :)
 
There is no formal do not spam list like the federal do not call list. Not sure what you put your name in for.

As Amy says, once you have a relationship with the company, it isn't spam.
 
It also depends on who you use for your internet. I know some sweeps don't allow entry with an AOL account, and I think there was at least one other. I also remember seeing posts about people having problems with email not getting through to them on certain free email services.
