How to start doing one time entry sweepsakes?

I know this may have seemed like an easy question, but having come from another website where I was entering my sweeps, I am finding that finding the daily sweeps to enter into was easy to "transfer", but the one time entry ones I am having a dilemma with. Unless I go through thousands of sweeps on both sites to make sure I didn't enter already. Did anyone else have to do this and how did you do it?

Very few will DQ you if you attempt to re-enter - you'll just get the "already entered" message :)

If your goal is to mark off those from another website at SA, why not use "Sort By" ?
 
I would suggest you don't worry about the previously listed sweeps and just start fresh on the one entries that are listed as new each day. You probably won't have much chance of overlapping since SA is pretty good at listing things as soon as they come out. There may be a few you miss that way, and it is possible you will enter a few that you entered at the other site, but alot of sweeps won't DQ you if you enter twice by mistake, they just toss out the 2nd entry, or even tell you that you have already entered. Do you know how to use the program Excel? I use this to copy and paste every one entry sweep and their end date into a document and then I can just search to see if I have entered it before. You can sort by either the title of the sweep or by the date. It makes it a lot easier for me to keep track. I've read of one lady who had a notebook and wrote each one down. Or you can use your sweeps check and each one you enter check it. If you do that at the end of each page make sure you hit save my sweeps. Just some ideas. I actually prefer the one entry to the daily. But I love anything that I have a chance at winning something! Good luck!
 
Amy - you say you've quit doing one entries, but now that it is a few years it will be safe now? What do you mean by saying "it will be safe now"? Why now? Thanks!
