How to determine which sweeps sending spam/dangerous emails?

Is there a way to determine which sweeps is sending possibly dangerous spam emails. I've been getting numerous emails with a series of number/letters in subject, know immediately they are spam. If I go into Unsubscribe a number of times they light up in Red and a notice of Dangerous, can harm computer comes up, so I then block it. However, I am blocking tons of these emails. I do scans to ensure my computer is okay and so far nothing is found.

I opened one to see who sending and checked the address but of course no company existed at the address listed. I know it is from some sweeps because I don't go on other sites to purchase except for places like Amazon, Macy's, etc. Also my husband doesn't get them and he (sadly) is not a sweeper.

So, is there a way to determine which sweep could be sending them? I'm ruling out Coke Sweepstakes, HGTV, big companies like that because been entering those for years and never an issue.

Appreciate any insight you can provide.

Thank you,

Hold your cursor over the name of the company/person who sent you the email. You'll get a popup that shows the return URL of the sender. The ending letters indicate the originating source - - EU is Europe, RU is Russia, etc. Here is a list of URL's by Country - - - World Wide Web URL Country Codes, Numbers - - - or you can search for it yourself by Googling - - World Wide Web Country Codes, Numbers

You can also trace back the IP Address (Internet Protocol) - - For info, Google - - - IP Address Trace

venice - sweeps sharing/selling your info? Most will tell you up front if they do/don't share your info w/3d parties, and if not on the entry form/in the rules, then they'll say so in their privacy policy

Also, if you use a search engine [other than duckduckgo] you might notice emails w/the searches you've made as the subject, and if you use Facebook, anything you like/possibly look at can result in the same.

The emails are all from people with different yahoo.com email addresses. The URLs are very long sequence of numbers with my email address in the middle of the sequence. I know that some companies will sell but these look just too weird and range from home warranty sales to cannabis. I do read the rules for companies that will share information but I sure did miss this one.

I am one of few people who have never had a FB account, I just wish there was a way to figure out which sweepstakes it was. I'm going to put my detective hat on with all the good information all of you provided and see if I can narrow it down. In the meantime, I will just enter those few sweeps I am sure of.

Thank you for your help.

Venice, if you value your privacy, then instead of Google you might try ixquick, yippy, or duckduckgo. These are search engines like Google, 'cept they don't track your searches nor do they keep a record of your search. There are approximately 15 other engines. Search for "search engines that don't track you" for descriptions and lists of engines (sites). Here's one review by Fox News - - -http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2015/10/17/3-search-sites-that-dont-track-like-google-does.html

My personal preference is ixquick, though I use all three.
